A named future suburb — City of Wyndham (long-term planning)

Transport

Connected before it's even planned.

One of the quieter advantages of Point Cook South: the rail, freeway and arterial network already exists around the precinct rather than waiting to be built.

Rail

Williams Landing Station (Werribee line) is the closest station, with premium station facilities, bus interchange and commuter parking. Werribee line services run to Southern Cross via Newport.

Freeway

The Princes Freeway (M1) is the region's spine, connecting Wyndham to the CBD in one direction and Geelong in the other, via the Palmers Road and Forsyth Road interchanges.

Air

Melbourne Airport is roughly 25km away, most directly via the M1 and the Western Ring Road.

Future road upgrades

Wyndham's arterial network — including Point Cook Road and Palmers Road corridors — is progressively upgraded as the municipality grows. Any internal road network for the precinct would be defined by the future PSP.
